When is the market?
We hold markets on the last Saturday of every month at Lil Danny Speedo’s Go Fly a Kite Lounge from 7pm-11pm. The address is 823 Dumble St, Houston, TX 77023.
Do you charge vendors to book a table?
Yes, we charge each vendor a small $10 fee to help us cover promotional costs like printing posters.
What do vendors need to bring to set up?
Vendors need to bring a table, chair, products, some method to process payments (either a sign with your digital payment options, change for cash if you’re using it, or a square/card reader. It’s okay if vendors only take one or two types of payments!), and battery-powered lighting if needed. If vendors require plug-in power, we ask that they please bring their own power cords! There are a couple outlets on the patio.
Can my organization table at your market?
Yes! We encourage nonprofits and political organizations to table at our markets for community outreach.
How many vendors are at Something Nice Night Market?
Danny’s is a very small, intimate space, so we host only about 6-7 vendors every month.
How do you choose vendors?
We make sure that every market is a well-curated spread of artists and small businesses, so there isn’t too much competition between vendors on any given night. Vendors who have an active business Instagram and several well-lit photos of their products are preferred. We create promotional material mainly through Instagram and we rely on our vendors to promote to their own networks to ensure the success of everyone at the market.
